This type of subject is opened for disscusion for long time.
It depends of each one of use – mainly what kind of personality we are: freelancer, obedient, etc.
When we get jobs we have to know as many things are possible to know aboaut that workplace and judge if we like to do that job.
For example, I like to work independent, but I enjoy a job in a company that encourages people like me.

Hi Angela,

sure, you can treat your boss as an inspiration despite the constant pressure you get.

you see if you become a better person, you improve your skills, your character and relationship then there must be an inspiration involved. otherwise it is a perspiration. haha.

It is really a pain if you hear the constant discussions/ arguments from the background even if you’re not directly involved. the noise level can be source of stress.

Hi Jerome,

You have a point there but sorry for being a grammar Nazi. You should always double check and proofread your article before publishing it so your grammar will be better.

For example, “site” should be “sight.” Let’s show them that we can write better English even if we are non-native speakers.

Thanks for your sharing with your experience of working in your company in Singapore.
I am coming from China mainland.If you ask me my boss is a source of Inspriation or a source of stress.I can tell you that it depends on different employees.I think my boss is a source of inspriation but my colleagues don’t agree with me.So you can know in the same company,there are different feelings to the boss.
Certainly,in almost workplace of China,the boss is a source of stree to its employees.
